Can I travel with an animal other than a dog, cat, rodent or bird?

Cold-blooded animals, even small ones, are not accepted in the cabin, and must travel in the hold.

Certain breeds are protected by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna (CITES), and are authorised for travel by cargo only. 
By way of example, if you wish to carry large quantities of poultry such as hens, chicks, pheasants, ostriches, etc; or goats, sheep, non-poisonous snakes, iguanas, tortoises, lizards, squirrels, etc.
