Our technical maintenance department
Corsair has an integrated technical department. It is responsible for the line maintenance of the company's aircraft at its main base at Orly, but also at Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre and Reunion. It also carries out A-checks.
Corsair's technical department is responsible for airworthiness, logistics, maintenance and quality to ensure that aircraft are maintained and monitored in the best possible safety conditions.
Our safety certificates
The JAR145 certification
Since 1994, Corsair's Technical Department has held EASA/DGAC Part M and Part 145 approvals, ensuring that aircraft are operated in the safest possible conditions.
For their part, heavy maintenance visits are entrusted to organisations approved for this type of operation and recognised in the industry for their very high standards of quality and safety. A structure of technical experts, available 24 hours a day, coordinates the maintenance of aircraft at Orly and during stopovers.
This cell monitors in real time all the behaviour of the aircraft, whose onboard systems are in constant communication with Orly via a satellite link. This enables safe flight management.
IOSA certification
Since May 2008, Corsair obtains IOSA accreditation, with the label issued by IATA, the International Air Transport Association. This attests to the airline’s adherence to a recognised quality system, and to its commitment in relation to all safety matters.
The IOSA assessment programme is based on the systematic review of nearly 1,000 points that combine international standards with the best practices of airlines.
This certification is incumbent upon the member airlines of IATA. With this label, Corsair states and confirms its strict compliance with international safety rules, particularly in terms of organisation, maintenance and flight operations.
