They must be carried in separate containers.
Here are the instructions to follow when traveling with sports equipment :
- Surfboards, windsurfing boards, kite surfing, windsurfing, etc. must be transported in a separate container from your luggage allowance for a maximum weight of 32 kg and a maximum length of 300 cm.
- Bikes will be transported in a separate container from your luggage allowance, up to a maximum weight of 23 kg. Bicycles must be wrapped in protective packaging (cardboard, strong plastic). Pedals must be removed, tires deflated and handlebars positioned parallel to the frame.
- Diving equipment will be transported in a container separate from your luggage allowance for a maximum weight of 20 kg. Cylinders must be emptied, uncapped and placed in the hold. Diving flashlights may be carried in the cabin if they are disconnected from their heat source. Batteries, light bulbs and accumulators must be carried in the hold. The diving bag must include a maximum of one wetsuit, one vest, one mask, one pair of shoes, one pair of fins, one knife and one regulator.
- Fishing rods must be carried in a separate container from your luggage allowance, weighing no more than 12 kg, in a tube no more than 2 m long. Over 1.5m, please check in at the oversize luggage counter.
- Ski equipment will be transported in a separate container from your luggage allowance up to a maximum weight of 23 kg (for a maximum of 2 pieces). Skis and poles must be securely attached to each other. Sharp edges must be padded to avoid damaging the walls of the aircraft's cargo hold (equipment accepted: downhill skiing, snowboarding, water skiing).
- Sporting or hunting weapons and ammunition : The conditions governing the carriage of sporting or hunting weapons and their ammunition apply exclusively to flights operated by CORSAIR. For all flights operated by other airlines, we invite you to contact the latter to find out about the relevant conditions.
- Golf bags will be transported free of charge in a container separate from your luggage allowance for a maximum weight of 20 kg (this free luggage is in addition to your hold allowance, i.e. free transport of your equipment + your hold allowance).
Sports equipment mentioned above can be transported free of charge and included in the baggage allowance of your fare class instead of the hold baggage included, if the sports equipment concerned complies with the maximum weight allowance of your fare class (23kg in ECONOMY and PREMIUM class and 32kg in BUSINESS class) and/or the authorized dimensions mentioned above.
If the sports equipment exceeds the maximum weight allowed by the baggage allowance of your fare class and/or the required dimensions, you will need to pay an additional fee. The total price including tax will be provided at the time of booking and is subject to fare variations.
Please note that longboards cannot be included in the baggage allowance of your fare class in place of the included checked baggage. Therefore, you will need to pay an additional fee per trip, regardless of your destination.
These items are accepted in the hold, as long as the following instructions are followed:
- At check-in, these items must be identified and accompanied by an authorization to possess a weapon (hunting permit or shooting license) and a deed of ownership. Luggage is screened by X-ray. Our station agents must have easy access to the contents of this luggage in order to check its weight and contents;
- Weapons are obviously forbidden in the cabin. They may only be carried in the hold. Your weapons must be completely unloaded and packed in a case or crate. We can only accept them if they have been authorized by the departure, transit and destination authorities;
- The ammunition must be perfectly wedged inside each package, so that it cannot collide. These packages must not be placed inside other hold luggage. A maximum of 5 kg of cartridges, including packaging, is accepted per passenger. Cartridges with explosive or incendiary projectiles are prohibited, and all loose ammunition is refused.
We also ask you to systematically report the transport of your weapon before your departure to Corsair Customer Service at the numbers at the bottom of the page.
Please note : Children's bicycles travel free of charge if their size is between 12 and 20 inches, even outside the franchise. For all bicycle transport, an SSR-Bike request must be made in the reservation file.
